Rolled Canvas

That’s me.

Holding a 16×24″ mounted canvas print of “Town Trot“.  One of my favorite shots from Vienna.

Taken this afternoon with my new G12.

The print is now hanging in someone else’s house.

BTW, from left to right, that’s “Sea of Gold“, “Dock at Sunrise” and “Paparazzi” hanging in the background.

  1. Hi there Bill. Great to see a picture of you, and I hope that the print of Town Trot looks better in person than it does in this picture. It seems a little light here. I’m really glad you bought the G12. From what I’ve read about it, it is a fine camera… and I like working with the little ones too. Especially if they are made well and have good lenses… like I think the G12 does have. I look forward to seeing some of your work with it.

    1. Thanks Shimon.

I think the canvas was catching the sunlight outside and reflecting. In person it’s quite contrasty, with deep blacks and bright whites. I was very, very pleased with the result. I just may get one for myself.

I’m still fiddling with the G12. Haven’t taken it afield yet, but will tomorrow.
