What a difference…

…a year and 1,121 miles make.

I finished the half marathons that I ran during the January-March period last year right around 1:55, with my heart rate pushing deep into Zone 4 for the majority of the race and ramping into Zone 5 for the last couple of miles.

Today’s training run, which happened to work out to 13.13 miles, was at 1:56:43, but I never even broke out of Zone 2.

Very comfortable, even considering it was 22F with a wind chill of 14F.

I like it.

Some fun news to share tomorrow.
