For those of you who live in the snow belt: Ktrack

Plus, any company that uses American Idiot in their commercial is alright in my book.

Around here, it just doesn’t snow enough. Heck, an inch shuts down this place. But if I move to the mountains (oh, I will Goddess, I will…).

Brent, don’t worry about it. πŸ˜‰

  1. Is it you who’s got a week skiing coming up in only 22 days’ time? And is it you who’s also got another five days booked for the end of February?

Oh, sorry, my mistake. It’s me, isn’t it.

If only I could think of a way of making the money to fund a year-round mountain lifestyle though . . . .

  2. @Tea,

EXACTLY. Reminds me of when I lived in Idaho. It never snowed heavily, but an inch or so every other day for a month added up to quite a bit. This would have been great!

  3. Uh oh everyone. Avert your eyes. I’m about to get hurt… πŸ˜‰

Goddess, the mountains are not a surprise, so don’t act like that. πŸ˜€

As for I, there’s actually two letters in there squished really close together. The W and the E get schmooshed vertically to make an I. You have to look real close, but that’s how it is.

    Yeah, that’s it.

  4. Oh sure, Karl. Rub it in, rub it in.

That’s OK. I think back to the days that I lived in Idaho and skiing went something like this:

    – wake up
    – lie in my own warm bed, deciding if I wanted to ski that day or just relax
    – if I decided to ski, I’d then have to decide whether or not I wanted to go to a resort or pick a backcountry slope to bag
    – do it
    – crawl back into my own warm bed that night
    – the next day? Rinse, repeat.

But that was a dozen years ago. It’s time to get back to it.
